Belmont Equity Partners developed Rossland Landing as a high-performing retail centre while advancing a long-term mixed-use intensification strategy.

Belmont Equity Partners secured Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendments through an OMB to construct a commercial plaza with over 100,000 sq. ft. of leasable area, located with prime exposure, and secured key first-class tenants such as Longo’s, Starbucks, Dollarama, and Pharmachoice.

Belmont Equity Partners’ hands-on approach to the development process ensured high-quality design and construction, and the successful lease-up of the project with a hand-picked, complementary mix of tenants. A significant portion of land was dedicated to the Town of Ajax for open space. The shopping centre has maintained a virtually zero vacancy rate, establishing itself as a premier destination for the surrounding community.

The property has now been rezoned to allow residential uses, with Belmont Equity Partners advancing a 10-storey purpose-built rental concept for the undeveloped portion of the site.
