This project required Belmont's expertise to successfully balance the urban design objectives and offsite requirements of the municipality, the existing servicing constraints, the constraints related to the conservation authority, environmental contamination of the property and the stringent design and functional requirements of the tenants. Further, this was one of the first projects to participate in Guelph's Brownfield and Community Improvement Plan initiatives.
A high quality 38,000 square foot urban retail centre comprising four separate buildings is the outcome of this complex development. Uses include grocery, restaurant, liquor and other CRU.
